Careers:  TPMaiava officially started broadcasting behind the microphone in 1988. He started from the Maiava Brothers Home Video Production, voice over and filming, editing, digital converted movies to DVD & Video; also designed CDs/DVD covers. In 1995 to 2000, he became a TV presenter for Samoan TV program on community TV Channel 31.

Radio: 1989  he worked for Radio station 2NBC Community radio 90.1 FM as a producer and broadcaster, then moved to Radio SBS 1170 AM which was broadcasted live from Melbourne Victoria. Maiava was working as a news reporter who covered the whole Sydney NSW region, where most of the Samoan community was located at the time.

 

In 1993 TPMaiava was the founder of the Radio Fofoga Mo'omia o Samoa (Interesting Voice of Samoa) started on Sunday 15th of August '93 through the Multicultural Community Radio Association Ltd.  First time ever had a Samoan Religious program broadcasting live on their mother tongue as an early bird on Sunday morning.  Until now it is extended and reaches out to the whole world via on internet service http://www.fofogamoomiasamoalive.com/, live link to Radio 2AP 540AM in Apia Samoa and internet link with "Radio Showers of Blessings" neighbourhood from Nu'uuli American Samoa.

 

 

Television:   Maiava was also the Founder of Samoa TV Sydney on Channel 31 - Community Television Sydney NSW Australia. This was an hour show which started from 1995 till 2000. The first Pacific TV series program was broadcasted live all around Sydney metropolitan.

Newspaper:  TPMaiava was a Samoan Australian correspondent for the International Newspaper, Samoana Newspaper, Samoa Times Newspaper, Samoa Nius, Le Manamea Samoa and Samoa Observer - Australia Samoan Newspaper. All these newspapers are based in New Zealand and a broad.

Status:  He is a Father of four lovely children from wife Talalelei Laupepa. Talalelei was the only daughter of Noa Ioane Laupepa from Fa'atoia Apia and mother Faumuina Oliana Mulipola from Mulifanua.

Ekalesia: Tiakono & Faiaoga i Pese ma Viiga o le Atua - Ekalesia EFKS Ausetalia

Career:   In 1988 Pesefea became a church organ & piano player starting from Samoa at the village of Vaoala, Saaga Siumu & Falealili EFKS Churches. He was the tutor of Malifa Music School - Samoa Na Galo for keyboard, organ & piano players and involved with the CCWS Pesega Symphonic Band and then joined Samoa Police Band in 1994. He was also a member of the Live band called Missisipi Band from Saaga Siumu.  In 1995 he migrated to Australia then continued his piano career in EFKS Parishes: Campbelltown, Lakemba, Belmore and lastly in Bankstown then moved to Melbourne Victoria in 2003. 

Semi extended his piano & organ career with Methodist church, EFKS and Catholic Puleaga Samoa, Melbourne Victoria. Towards the end of 2007 he moved back to Sydney in October and became an organ player for Methodist church in Punchbowl Parish. At the same year in December he was called to become a radio broadcaster and second incharge for Fofoga Moomia o Samoa. In 2008 he was assissting organ players for EFKS Condell Park and then was the organ player for EFKS Riverstone 2009. In early 2010, he played at the  Doonside Methodist church. In June, he had moved back to his original church, EFKS Bankstown.
